Details regarding Isle of Wight Steam Railway
One of the best attractions on the Isle of Wight is there fantastic steam railway that they have on the island. The starting point is Smallbrook Junction and travels down the line for 5 miles to the quiet and beautiful place of Wootten Bridge.
When you are on this steam railway it is like going back in time. Nothing has been change with the trains for years go by and they the oldest locomotive that is still in use was built in 1876 with the train carriages dating back to 1864. When visiting the island this trip is a must for all the family and you will have fond memories of your day out on the railways of Isle of Wight.
The cost of taking a journey on the stream railway is as follows:

Child (5-15 yrs) £4.50
Infant (0-4 Yrs) Free, subject to a maximum of two per fare paying adult. Otherwise carried at child rates.
Family Fare £22.50 - Available for two adults and two children travelling together.
First Class (Valid all day) - * Please not these prices are correct when written 6th November 2009.
